OVERNIGHT OATS BREAKFAST RECIPE

It's summer....and, does a steamy bowl of oatmeal make you sweat just thinking about it? If so, then this overnight oat recipe is just for you. This dish is like having a dessert for breakfast. No cook, easy, to-go healthy & nutritious breakfast.

INGREDIENTS:

Ø ½ cup Rolled Oats

Ø 1 Cup Milk (Dairy/Plant)

Ø 1 tbsp Chia Seeds

Ø 1 tbsp Honey/Maple Syrup

Ø 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

Ø 1 scoop protein powder (optional, best for post-workout)

Ø Salt (a pinch)


METHOD:

1. In a jar or bowl add oats, chia seeds, unsweetened cocoa powder, protein powder (optional) & salt. Mix all the dry ingredients. Then add milk & honey and stir well. Refrigerate overnight or for at least 5 hours.

2. In the morning, add additional liquid if you'd like. Enjoy your breakfast dessert!!!


To spruce it up, you can add a variety of toppings and mix-ins, including fresh fruits, nuts, seeds, spices, nut butter, protein powder, granola, grated coconut, or vanilla extract.
